And the last of the three....
Here's a picture of Paul jumping into our little known watering hole at George's Folly Camp. There were SO MANY people out camping that our favorite place (Shanty Creek) was occupied, so we went to our back up.
It was being here that inspired me to write "Perfect", a collection of three stories.
The other two you've heard. Now, the third part.
Holly Lister is everybody's friend. It's her childhood camp site that all her friends found love and happiness. Now, her own happiness is threatened. Jeff Coville, her boyfriend of two years, has cancelled their planned trip to Las Vegas and seems distant. With all her friends paired off, it seems no one is there for Holly. Is their relationship in the toilet? Or can Holly find a way to get beyond her childhood issues and trust Jeff?
I really liked writing this. The characters are very different. They didn't have really long, involved stories though. I noticed that the word count got less and less as I got to the third one. When I finished typing the second part in the computer, it was only about 11K. LOL. I doubt it will be more than 15K.
No chance to write today. Lots of people around and stuff. I hope to have some time soon.
